Isabel Lau is an illustrator who specializes in book cover design, children's book illustration, and editorial illustration. She is happy to report that she won the cover design for the 2019 Art Connection Benefit Festival brochure and winner for the Gilbert Stone scholarship. She enjoys working on paper in a traditional watercolor medium and is open to combining new technology into her work. She finds inspiration in animals and the natural world, bird science is one of her primary areas of study. In her childhood, she owned a cockatoo. She was raised in China and currently resides with her family in New York City.
